Study Melbourne Scholarships
The University of Melbourne has been offered funding for two Study Melbourne Scholarships by the Victorian Government.
Value
Benefits: $23000 to put towards tuition fees in 2008.
Conditions
Eligibility:
Candidates must:
1.
Be an international student. Citizens of Australia and New Zealand, Australian permanent residents and Vietnamese students who are in receipt of a MOET scholarship are not eligible.
2.
Commence or continue enrolment in their degree in semester 1, 2008.
3.
Hold a student visa for the term of the scholarship.
4.
Agree to participate in the promotion of Melbourne and Victoria as a study destination for international students during their course and on completion of their degree.
Selection:
1.
Faculties will nominate candidates based on their academic achievement.
2.
Priority will be given to candidates who are already enrolled or who will enrol in a course which provides training in an area that the Victorian Government has identified in the Skilled Migration program.
