R. G. Wilson Scholarships

Mrs. Annie Wilson widow of the late R.G. Wilson merchant of Melbourne by her will bequeathed to the University the sum of 2000 pounds sterling for the purpose of founding a scholarship in his memory.



Value

Amount: Each scholarship is one quarter of the net annual income of the fund $25,403.

Conditions

Eligibility

1.
One scholarship is awarded to the best student enrolled in a third year course in the department of History.
2.
Three scholarships are awarded to the best honours students enrolled in the faculty of Arts.
3.
The scholarships are awarded by the Council on the recommendation of the dean of the faculty of Arts.
